The ViewSonic ViewPad 4 seems like its a smartphone, with it’s 4.1 inch touchscreen display. However, ViewSonic is pitching this little tiny device as a tablet…we don’t know why. It’s smaller than other smartphones that have been launched over the past few days at CES. But hey, it’s their product right?
The ViewPad 4 doesn’t have teh greatest looking design to it, with its sharp edges, and flat bulky rectangular feel. It’s got a 1GHz processor within it, and thats probably the best part of it. Running Android 2.2, this device also comes with a 5 megapixel camera, HD recording capabilities, Super AMOLED screen display, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G, front-facing camera and will cost you about $500 with out a contract no doubt. It’s not too bad specs wise, but it looks down right ugly. Also, it’s not a tablet in our humble opinions, its a smartphone.
