RIM’s WebWorks SDK will make apps work for PlayBook and BlackBerry 6 devices

RIM is making it alot easier for developers to get onboard with BlackBerry App development by introducing WebWorks SDK, which will make app developed within compatible for its new PlayBook tablet as well as BlackBerry 6 OS smartphones and devices. This is a great move for RIM after the large number of stories coming out related to fragmentation in developing apps for different form factors, as seen in Android devices mainly. WebWorks SDK will allow a developer access to tools allowing them the ability to test apps on different platforms prior to packaging.

More information can be found here about WebWorks SDK as well.
