The Motorola Xoom, easily the biggest, baddest tablet at CES (not by much mind you) not only has some of the best specs we’ve seen in a tablet device, but it’s also got something that we didn’t hear alot about, and we’re not sure why. Along with the built in accelrometer, magnetometer, ambient light sensor and gyroscope, it’s got a barometer. Which leads me to think that the Motorola Xoom is not only capable of guiding your steps, keeping you balanced, judging best lighting within a room, and adjusting it’s display, perhaps even adjusting your lights in teh room, but it may also tell you when a storm is approaching, and when to run indoors! We don’t know what they’re going to do with this feature just yet, as it really lies in the power of programmers and developers, but think of the potential. Let’s see if something comes out with Gingerbread or Honeycomb that will be our personal weather meteorologist for Verizon. We thought it was cool anyway. Do you?
