The new HP WebOS tablet we’ve been hearing about is finally making itself known. It’s called the HP Topaz, and it’s set to turn some heads against some of its competition in the tablet market. This new tablet will have a 9.7 inch screen, 1024×768 pixel oil scratch resistant display, 1.2 GHz processor, Adreno 220 graphics processor, 512MB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, front-facing camera and an 8hr 3,150 mAh battery.
On top of this, the Topaz will feature HP’s wireless technology “Touchstone” or Touchstone v2 for media streaming, cloud print services, charging, image and file sharing as well. All of this on top of WebOS should make for a nice tablet device, one that Id certainly like to get my hands on.
No doubt we’ll hear more about HP and WebOS at the HP event on Feb 9th 2011, hopefully they have more in store for everyone than whats already been leaked online. That would make it as exciting as downloading a movie when it comes out, then seeing it again in the theater because the version you downloaded was crap. Spoiler alert!
